“Hi, my name is Melanie, I'm from Ridgefield, Washington, and I'm a 45-year-old. I was in a terrible hit-and-run accident two years ago. The driver was going 70 miles an hour and ran through a red light. He sideswiped my car, totaling my car. Leaving me with a concussion and injuries to my spine.
The hyperbaric oxygen therapy and TRT provided by In Light Hyperbaric's helped me regain my strength by reducing inflammation and helping heal my brain from the concussion. "Here is my story…
I would like to say it's a quick novel but summary at best. In '21 I got Covid and then stroked soon after. Leaving me to not speak nor swallow ICU bound. My husband was my voice because he understood me the most. With air sounds in hand motion I tried to communicate.
After my recovery from the hospital with COVID aftercare, I was able to return home with family/friends providing care for me. The medical doctors offered no advice for treatment of the stroke, and mind you, my professional life included TALKING A LOT.
I improved by the grace of God.
I began to learn about the brain…
It felt gloomy but I learned about oxygen therapy and I decided to give it a go. I went more naturopathic in my recovery process.
