Meet Our Team.

  • Co-Owner

Edna has spent much of the last decade utilizing light therapy in clinical applications. She has also pioneered the introduction of MHBOT to SW Washington. Her passion to help suffering clients achieve wellness is a product of her own personal journey through pain, injuries and disease, which has shaped her into a compassionate healer. She loves giving her clients hope in their journey to achieving a healthier and higher quality of life!

  • Co-Owner

Caitlin is a true believer that every experience, lesson and moment in life happens for a reason! She began her passion with natural healing about 13 years ago, after she was diagnosed with an illness at 18 that kept her from living a young active lifestyle. A blessing in disguise, it proved to be a positive detour to her future. After turning her health around with nutrition, homeopathic remedies and light therapy, she went on to study holistic nutritional healing at Nutritional Therapy Association.

  • Executive Admin Assistant

April greets clients, answers phones, takes payment for services, and is responsible for accounts payable. She was the very first employee hired by Edna and Caitlin.

In the past April has had a variety of customer service jobs including a grocery clerk, a receptionist for a naturopathic clinic, and an attempted business in promotional products sales. Also included in her background are various bookkeeping jobs throughout her career.

She is affectionately called “the office fairy” as she knows a bit about all the goings on in the office and flits here and there on a daily basis. She has been known to set you up for light therapy, assist in operating the hyperbaric chambers, can be caught completing janitorial duties, and anything else that is needed, all with a magical air of a fairy.

April enjoys playing flute, piano, and singing, knitting for her family, reading books, and taking care of her geriatric cats (Bo and Kit-Kat) and her West Highland Terrier named Watson.

She has a family of four adult children, who are successful in their chosen careers. She is Gigi (grandmother) to two grandsons, 5 and 10, who reside in New Jersey.

April believes that without the customer, we would not be in business, so make the customer happy.

April is motivated by seeing improvement in our client’s health and quality of life as they use our services.

  • Community Development Coordinator

Lydia came in HOT, as a client for her son’s critical healing needs years ago, and she kept pressing in until In Light finally gave her a job 3 years later. Now, we call her Litty Lit the Ninja, because she’s always juggling multiple projects around here to keep us growing into the light! You will see her name or face around town on our blogs, newsletters, or behind the scenes building events for our community development & outreach, as Lydia understands the importance of getting HBOT & Therapeutic Light Therapy - cutting edge research - out to the public, especially post Covid.

If you ask Lydia what she thinks her greatest strength is, she’ll probably tell you that it’s Nordstrom style customer service and connecting as deeply as possible with clients. If we can’t find her in the building, it’s probably because she’s in some corner with a client trying to make their lives better by lending a compassionate ear, guiding with her plethora of knowledge on all things NATURAL, or simply offering a prayer of compassion & courage along with a bear hug! To hear her tell a client that she loves them, that’s normal daily talk from this girl!

Lydia started her 15 year retail career with Nordstrom as a teen and learned the skill of serving the public from the best, but became tired of working late nights & weekends while wanting to plan a family, so Lydia switched careers to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Dentistry, both front & back office, with dental/medical billing lasted until she ended her career due to Covid. She decided it was time for another shift to focus more on her continued education and experience with Holistic Nutrition. After a year in the Health & Beauty Dept of Chuck’s Produce, Lydia accepted a position with Edna as care-taker for her husband, Douglas, during the last year of his life, and the relationship between the two women became solidified for life! It was only logical that Lydia would step into a position at In Light next, and we’ve watched her sore since!

The journey so far has been nothing short of lightning speed growth, with consistent education to reach the masses about how effective hyperbarics is for overall mental & physical health! Lydia’s passion for oxygen & light, along with cutting edge holistic nutrition research and education, has led her to spread the word as far and wide as possible…so keep an eye out for an email, a blog or podcast to learn more, and grow your own passion for extraordinary health.

Operates and maintains our Hyperbaric Chambers. Malone has been with In Light for 3 years. He gets to work with his sister Mariah!

Malone started off Volunteering at In Light when he was 16. One morning Mariah brought him in to help and after a few days, it became a routine. Then within a few months, Malone was a full-fledged staff member. In Malone’s spare time his hobby is working on his car. When Malone isn’t turning valves, you can probably find him turning wrenches.

Malones favorite inspirational quote is from the famous Mahatma Gandhi, “Strength does not come from winning, your struggles develop your strength. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.” When it comes to helping people, that is what Malone loves most.
